Weekend Intensives PDF Print E-mail

Weekend intensives are usually held in April and October in Sedona, Arizona. The next one will be April 14-15: "Moving from Ego to Essence." See below for a description of these intensives.

Moving from Ego to Essence, April14-15, 2012

The experience of our true Self is available right here in every moment, but negative beliefs and feelings obscure it and keep us tied to the egoic mind and suffering. The good news is that more and more people are waking up out of the egoic mind, and if you are reading this, it’s likely you are already doing that. During this intensive, you will experience the sweet Presence of your true nature and uncover and heal whatever stands in the way of living more from your essential Self. You will learn the tricks the egoic mind plays to keep you involved with it and discover how it keeps you from the peace, joy, contentment, and happiness that is at your core. You will also discover what it means to live from Essence rather than from the ego and how to better align yourself to your life purpose.

The weekend intensive is a combination of talks, one-on-one work with Gina, and meditation. Gina will help you address any personal and spiritual issues and concerns you feel may interfere with your happiness and being more fully present in your life. The intensive is an opportunity to discover and release whatever is getting in the way of your experiencing and expressing your true Self (Essence) more fully.

Some of the topics that have been discussed in other similar gatherings are: how to find your life purpose, how to detach from the egoic mind, how to live from Essence, how to be in Essence in relationships, how Essence communicates, how Essence guides your life, how to make choices, what being awake is like, reprogramming beliefs, trusting life, handling anger, loving yourself, dealing with fear, overcoming anger at God, how to clear emotional complexes and negativity, what causes suffering, how to heal conditioning, letting go of the past, and dealing with difficult relationships.

The next intensive will be held in the Sedona Room at Sedona Creative Life Center in Sedona, Arizona on Saturday April 14th 10-6 and Sunday April 15th 10-4. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation, food, and lodging. $195. For more information, get a registration packet here. Moving from Ego to Essence in Relationships

How much love you have in your life is under your control because you are the giver of love! You can choose to give love, and the more you do, the more love-filled your life becomes. That choice comes naturally when we drop out of our egoic mind and into Essence. In this weekend intensive, you will discover the love within you and unlock any blocks that keep it from flowing to others. The secret to happiness and to love is giving love. How do you keep yourself from loving? That is also how you keep yourself from being loved.

This intensive is based on Gina’s book Loving in the Moment: Moving from Ego to Essence in Relationships. Through talks and dialogues, Gina will present five keys to experiencing true love and happiness. You will learn about the power of gratitude, acceptance, forgiveness, attention, Presence, and being in the moment. You will also learn how you create your feelings and experience of reality and how to create a happier and more loving life instead. The intensive is for everyone, whether you are in a relationship or single. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation, food, and lodging. There are currently no dates set for this intensive.

"Freedom is truly a state of mind or, rather, a state of no mind, or ignoring the mind’s complaints about life. You are already free and always have been. You have been given this great gift of choice: the freedom to choose how you see life and respond to it. Happiness is under your control more than you may realize. You have more power than you may think—you have the power to not think, to ignore your thoughts, and to experience the gift that this life is."
